sal, the man at work is an old hippy, long hair, long beard, heart of gold, full of wit and wisdom. there aren't many like him any more, unfortunately. he doesn't want any fuss so no collection.. but almost everyone loves him and he has lots of individual gifts coming his way. he didn't want a do either, so we're pretending to have an office Diwali do. he loves Indian food, so it's just an excuse for everyone to say goodbye.. although I'll be staying in touch with him :o)

sara - Our Les certainly does want a collection!! She even gave us some ideas for her pressie - bless her. She thinks 'well, I;ve been here for over 10 years & donated to everyone else's, so why not'. Why not indeed ?! She's a real eccentric - and you all know I love eccentrics. I may start working on being one myself ;-)
