The last time we celebrated BIG time was our wedding anniversary - weekend in Paris - tend to make our anniversary the one celebratrion each year as opposed to our birthdays or Christmas.

I'd like to celebrate winning the lottery but who wouldn't?

The last time we celebrated anything but someone's life at their funeral was my daughters 21st in 2005. I'm celebrating being made redundant at the end of August when I get my redundancy settlement, we're all going out for a meal.
I'd like to celebrate getting a new job, hopefully I'll know whether I have been successful by this time next week after a few false starts.

Winning the lottery was something that cropped up in conversation tonight, and it's amazing to hear all the different things that people would do if they came into serious money...

The last time I celebrated was my birthday in January, but then I only got a couple of bottle of fizz and some little lite bites to pick on...

Hi Dot. I was only thinking the other day, how the 3 people to whom I was closest at school all died in their 20s. At each funeral, rather than having a sombre service, we "celebrated" their lives...

Sorry to hear about your impending redundancy, but let's hope that this is a positive change of direction for you..
