I'll give full info at the start because it'll be useful for anyone who doesn't know about this.

If you type three dashes and then hit Enter, Word inserts a horizontal line across the document. If you use Shift+dash (or underscore) you get a bold single line. If you type = three times and hit Enter you get a double line.

I seem to remember there's something you can do to get a triple line but I can't remember what. Any ideas? Or any similar hints?

Another one is three *s, which gives you a chunky dotted line.
I'm on Windows 2000 Professional and have tried 3 dashes enter, Shift+dash, = 3 times, opened the link from Kempie, read it again, still it doesn't work.  What am I doing wrong?  Any suggestions?
