Ants cover eavery square inch of my garden. I even have small anthills appearing in my lawn. Any suggestions on how to get rid or at least reduce the infestation please? I have tried every killer under the sun but the problem is too great for most to work.

Simple but effective. Track the ants to their nests by putting down something they want to eat, and follw where they go. Then once you have found them, pour boiling water on all the anthills and nests you can find.
Another good tip is to put some some bread out for the birds wherever the ants are, they will come down for it and eat the ants as well, hope it works, they are creepy little things aren't they?.
Pour petrol down the hole/s. Stand back and throw a lit piece of paper onto the petrol!!
Sounds radical and dangerous but it ain't, honest.
