NoMercy, my Grandad always used to say if you want to get a hat, get a head, lol. His favourite aftershave was Aramis and he called it Arab's p!ss.

No ziggy, I have no cockney ancestors, (lesson on genealogy foir ziggy) ancestors are brought into a family at marriage from the bride and the grrom and passed to the chjildren, the broides ancestors are the distaff side, the grooms' ancestors are usually a completely different line.
Of course, there are exceptions, take for instance my Mum's grandparents Ben and Mary Lumb from Ripponden in Yorkshire , Ben was the son of John Lumb and Mary Normanton and Mary's maiden name was Normanton, the daughter of John and Mary Normanton, nee Ainley. john Normanton was the cousin of Mary Normanton wife of John Lumb, they shared a grandfather Levi Normanton, and so my Mum,'s tree merges into one family on the normanton side.
But that aside, no, i have no cockney ancestors ziggy, they are all on my kid's dad's soide and we were not related in any way before we got married, do you follow that now?

Aprilis - my dad came out with that version a couple of days ago. As for those old aftershaves, do you remember High Karate and Censored? My ex's godfather used to own those two brands.
