Coffins are expensive these days!!!

When I go, I want a wicker box like Wendy Richard was buried in.
oh i wonder if its been used .i want to be stuffed and lay in bed when i die .
you never know how long this credit crunch will last, you could put it in your living room with a cover over it and use it as a coffee table,or a bed,or a window plant holder?
buy it ..they cost at least 700 ..a wicker
coffin is mega bucks 1k at least ...
this is credit crunch time ..a good investment
for future use !!
how morbid is that! - some devil worshippers may take it for summer solstace! OR Dracula if he passes by!

ps love hornchurch, den - used to gig at the regency suite at nearby chadwell heath many years ago - brilliant crowds then! great memories!
He must've gotten better.

Just had a thought !! I was wondering what to buy my hubby for his 60th birthday in August - problem solved !!!
when I was at school I went round to my best mates house, walked through into the kitchen, sat and had a cup of tea and a natter. It was only on the way out I noticed her father laid out in his coffin in the sitting-room - and nobody had even mentioned it....

Or I could buy and sell it on Ebay - though I would get some funny looks putting it on the scales in the Post Office !!

where was the Regency Suite - Ianfran ?
den - sorry for delay in replying - had some nosh and a glass of white! - regency suite was in chadwell heath and was a night club that had guest djs playing weekly oncertain nights, even on weekdays and also had big name groups playing there such as depeche mode duran duran and spandau to name but a few! ( this was in the mid 80's so some of you pretty ladies out there may be too young to remember (!) or there again, maybe not! much love xx spread it - the rascal x

I'm 53 - so I do remember the 80's - was the Regency Suite -, the pub that was called the Birds Nest ?
A post about a coffin?

Dead boring! ;)
Regency Suite was the old Seven Kings Hotel i Believe, in the High Rd
Ianfran, Froggy,Terry Rae, mean anything?
You should've snapped it up - it's very expensive to die now, y'know!! lmao.
stompe yes they do - steve howlett aka froggy was one of the best "soul mafia" djs of that period in the late 7o's early 80's and sadly heard that he died last march in 2008, of a brain haemorrhage - would have liked to have gone to his funeral to pay respects, but did'nt know, as was abroad at that time. A dj i also knew was steve walsh who went to my high school too and he died sadly of complications to a car accident in spain whilst filming a video for his single.
all great memories and some good times -used to buy my imports and uk/demo's from the same shop in Holborn london as the likes of chris hill jeff young robbie vincent chris brown sean french froggy greg edwards and pete tong who used to work as a blues and soul rep many years ago ( he had a bright orange ford cortina mk3 i think, before starting out clubbin' and getting into producing and dj-ing - good times!!!
