We have a Latish breakfast usually 10.30
We vary it a bit. OH'S job to do brekkie. Sometimes a fry up, today was mushroom and tomato omelette, occasionally cereal with banana. Favourite one is toast with egg mayo, coronation chicke, tuna mayo, assorted cheeses and marmalade.

Porridge is nutritious, no doubt about that. As to other breakfast cereals, especially Rice Krispies, you will get more nourishment by eating the box they come in.

Coffee first thing, then some toast about 10ish, with more coffee. Couldn't function in the morning without a couple of good black coffees, but don't drink it in the afternoon.

Ever since i was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, i have made sure i have 3 meals per day, beginning with breakfast. I usually have cereal/porridge with a few slices of banana and a couple of halved strawberries. Once in a blue moon, i may have boiled egg and toast.

Occasional coffee.

I like poached egg on a crumpet but for speed and minimum clean up I have toast with a scrambled egg done in the microwave in a cup (1 min)
