Hi redcrx

I haven't been on here for almost a year, but you gave me some great advice when I was pregnant with my son Robert. I remember you were very insistent about nipple tweaking! :-)
Well Robert is a year old now and he's wonderful. Shame the same can't be said for his Dad.
After Robert was about a month old he completely changed, wouldn't do a thing for any of us so I decided he had to go.
He kidnapped Robert and took him away for three days. I finally got him back and me and the kids had to run away to a women's refuge. It's been a horrible time for all of us, but we're getting back on track.
I hope everything with you is okay, please reply soon

Hello stressing, what a pleasant surprise to see a post for me. Im worried about getting a bad reputation for telling pregnant women to tweak their nipples

Im so sorry to hear that things went so badly with your partner, i really do hope that things are now looking up for you and your children though.

Ive had a little girl since you were last on, so i now have my 3 year old son and my daughter who is 9 months old.
How did your daughter adapt to having a new baby brother, my little boy amazed me with how much he loves his sister I was expecting all sorts of trouble lol

didnt you ask about whether son were different to daughters in their behavior? did you find an answer?
xx
Why would a pregnant woman have to tweak her nipples? lol

She loves her little brother so much! Not so much when he's trying to switch the tv off while she's watching the Suite Life of Zack and Cody :-)
Congratulations on the arrival of your little bundle! What a difference a year makes hey? :-)
We'll be okay, we've moved into out own place now and we're doing well.
Boys are different from girls, but not in a bad way. Girls have more patience than boys, and bys tend to be a bit more boisterous, but both my children are so loving and wonderful I wouldn't trade them for anything else!
The nipple tweaking thing? To bring on labour apparently :-)
beanmistress, its supposed to stimulate the uterus into contracting, which will then help to bring on labour. Either nipple tweaking or using a manual breast pump can start things off.

stressing, im glad your daughter is so loving, my daughter bullies her brother and yet he loves it lol.
They are really different too, ive noticed that my daughter is already throwing little tantrums and can scream if she wants something. lol

aww bless her! Sounds like she's got the handle on the men already! lol
My little'un is such a flirt with women, I think its the red hair. people comment on it all the time and he just stands there lapping up the attention, flashing his little pearly whites :-)
My daughter is turning into a teenager at the rip old age of 8! Huffing and puffing when I ask her to pick up her little fiddly bits of toys that baby might swallow. Lovely though she is the majority of the time, she has her moments. She's funny though, must be the influence of my 14 year old niece. Now SHE has the huffing nailed. She could cause the collapse of governments with her tantrums :-)
Ah. very cunning
