Very varied I think.
Personally I don't think they're really relevant anymore - If you just took the lot of them a way life would go on much the same and we'd never notice the difference.

You'll find a lot of people will tell you that they "bring in a lot of tourism" but even if that's true setting your constitution around what brings in most tourism isn't a sensible idea.

Some people will tell you they do a lot of good work - but then so does Bob Geldoff and I'm not putting a crown on him!

At the end of the day I think monarchists are often people who like the old fantasies of Kings and Queens and princesses in towers, removing them would make their lives duller.

We should remove the last vestiges of their power though like the theoretical right to choose who forms a Government
They lost that particular power many, many years ago.
Not really it's just that we haven't had a minority government for many years when such a perogative may be used.

it's a relief to see American voters have had enough of electing a relative of a previous president - they were starting to look rather dynastically inclined.
They are a loving family even though they don`t show it and since their Grandmother died they have held themselves together well

Jim is still a lazy git though and should get off his fat arse and make Barbara a brew every now and then
Arguably the richest woman on the planet and yet she never insured Windsor Casle and opened Buck House to offset the cost of repairs.
Sad family................you can't take it with you!
I am afraid that my opinion is not printable on a Family site! LOL
Probably 10% of people hate them and 10% of people love them, and the remaining 80% don't give them much thought at all. They're pretty irrelevant to our daily lives.

The media shoves them down our throats at every opportunity, but no-one's really that interested, or if they are it's only in the sense that you might be interested in following a soap opera.
Most English people Are Subservient and just Love to Bow to their betters.
waste of space, hate them all - good for tourism
I'd love a gong but can't afford it?

Queen & 2 princes - Yes.......rest are rubbish!
First up against the wall when the revolution comes !
the queen and her immediate kids and grandkids all good but the royal family is to large with titles bestowed on 2nd and 3rd cousins and large houses to live in wrong all wrong
According to this poll http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7162649.stm
78% of Brits think we should retain the Monarchy. And I think the Queen herself commands enomous respect from very many people. We're still not sure about Charles, I reckon, but he seems to be widely thought of as well-meaning, at the very least. Princess Anne is respected for her public works and the glamourous ones in the younger generation get a lot of media attention, usually fawning. But only real fans of Royalty have any time for any of the rest - and as has been stated, there are an awful lot of them.

Reptile Lizards.
I think the royal family is a waste of space and we should become a republic instead, I think people are afraid of change which accounts for the high number of idiots, sorry, citizens who want to retain the drain on our society that is the royal family.
