Was George Galloway right to state the follwing on last night's late night 'Talk Sport Radio'?

He said that "any black man would be right to be scared to go under the surgeons knife, if he knew that the surgeon was a member of the BNP".

Knowing his views and support on muslim countries etc, what would his reaction have been if someone had said "how would a white man feel if he knew his surgeon was a muslim"? Let's face it a muslim doctor was recently jailed for being a terrorist and for trying to blow us up.

I have yet to hear of a Doctor (who also happened to be a member of the BNP), try to blow up anyone least of all a black man.

after 5 hours trying to make sense of that ridiculous analogy.

AOG's statements are mental to the point of depressing.

No need to be so aggressive, only trying to prove what a stupid statement G.Galloway made.

But then perhaps it is a little too dificult for you to comprehend, whereas most others have had no difficulties.

Oh! so it only works one way as per usual? And to hell with the level playing field.
You know the analogy is a poor one. And you know why.

Do you want to have another go at it?

I've not see anyonone come out and complain about the treatment they received from the terrorist doctor

I think there might have been one or two if that 'Bl**dy' bomb had gone off, that is of course if they had still been alive to come out and complain.

Not in the least, just because you think it is, just does not matter, you are the last person to set any form of standards.

Getting somewhat bored with you now, Bye.
Most of my doctors and dentists are Muslims. This doesn't worry me. But if I knew they were Taliban members, it would. That seems like a reasonable analogy to Galloway's statement. AOG, your analogy is BNP/Muslim, and that's nonsense. I think BNP/Taliban is closer, though not perfect.
Don't go, AOG. I can help you come up with an accurate one if you want.

It's just that the entire thread lacks credibility with the analogy you've suggested.
Why argue like this? Why not act upon it?

If you are one of those black or Asian who do not trust the surgeon then refuse to be operated by a surgeon who tells you that he is the member of BNP. Although personally I will not do that.

If you are white and do not trust a Muslims doctor then you do the same.

Easy.

Quite agree, but try telling G.Galloway that, and he would just give you a mouthful of abuse, before cutting you off.
