It depends what costs you are referring to.

No-one should have to pay for tuition costs.
There may be certain costs payable - for example child care, if that applies.
Other support funding is generally means-tested on thr parents.

Yes, what funding are you referrig to? I work in a College of FE and full time students don't have to pay towards tuition costs unless they are over 19.

They can claim EMA of upto �30 per week, deopending on income of their parents.
