i really wouldn't base any decision she makes on the quality of their website! ANYONE can set up ANY website about ANYTHING. You dont have to be legit to have a good website, just be good at computers ot have money to pay for someone who is!

if they want you to pay money, i think its a way they are making it. when you go they will say ill pay the studio and you pay the photos and the copy rights which isnt cheap.
it happened to me today.
if your gf has been spotted in the street like me then they should pay and if they dont, dont waste your money on it
cos its not guaranteed ull get it back.
maybe they will offer to pay maybe not
make sure she doesnt get her hopes up.
if its something she wants to do go somewhere
cheaper to get her photos taken professionally and then send them round. or give them to vanity but i think storm is a better modelling agency.
good luck.
My friend was scouted through the same process and at first i was vary because i didnt know they could do that. But it has turned out ok and for myself aswell!!
We had had some photos done before together at some studio in town but that was like 2 years ago...so she got some more done through them which were really nice. She signed up and applied for a few jobs and started working in this top club which was really cool! (free entry for me!) She also did some free shots through the site from a photographer who does it to build up her portfolio and you get the pictures too so it helps. She needed more people so asked me aswell. I then applied to Vanity myself with these and joined...
Me and my friend do alot of promo stuff together and was clappers in a music awards semi finals which will be shown soon i think.
The work you get through them isnt top class like front cover of mags but its nice good fun things like extras, music videos, some shoots, promo etc so just a good laugh really, and making some money too!
Its no Storm but were happy....
I also had a friend who was scouted by the company. He sent them his portfolio, and started working with them relatively quickly. After doing some extra work he reccomended them to me. I emailed them and was put in contact with a booker who helped me create a profile, and assisted in my getting a portfolio done. The shoot was SO much fun, and the images I got are fantastic! I really enjoyed the experience! I have since done a lot of promotional work with the company, and have been an extra on the Charlotte Church show :-) I have also used the portfolio I had done for other companies and my own purposes. The work they do is not high-profile no, but it is fun and really well paid!
