All the answers are things that fly. I am stuck on the last 4 and any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.

2. Brightly coloured flapper puts in an appearance around a court (6)
3. Elderly, true blue officer who kept a low profile (7,5)
4. What redhead was all at sea in this? (7,5)

Well done - thank you. Only 3 to do!
Could 3 be Douglas Bader? Not sure where the 'elderly' comes in, but once he lost his legs he would have had a 'low profile'.
4 If Ted Heath was a redhead (once), this could be morning cloud.......

'scared' is not exactly as it seems i.e. an anagram then 'I' twice for the second word and the name of a bird...
