does a car warranty cover everything?

hi i got a car on hire on hire purchase 3 weeks ago,we have had to call the rac out twice and it has now been taken to the garage,the car is faulty ,the men at the garage cant be sure what is wrong with the car it could be one of two things,the car is supposed to be covered under warranty for 3 years,but the warranty company are refusing to pay for the work to be done(it will cost almost �500) does anybody have an idea where I stand on the matter? your help and advice would be greatly apprieciated.

warranty covers failure of parts (but not stuff like wiper blades) or poor workmanship. It wouldnt cover you for doing stupid things like driving through a flood, or letting the oil run down.

its the auto box or the CPU(think thats the letters) so I should really be covered then regardless of which it is?
should be covered but some of these warranties are very dubious there are often many get outs in the small print..

After only 3 weeks it should be repaired regardless of the warranty, ' fit for use ' etc. go back to the dealer/trader... & talk to trading standards..
