Does anyone ever use

a public telephone booth these days???? Since we all seem to have mobile phones, it seems a bit of a waste - and yet I often leave the house without my mobile. Just use it for texting really.

nah i dont use the public phone, i use my mobile, but i text more than phone :) and yeh i think public fones are waste of sapce! but u never know it may come in handy!!

I have never used a telephone booth for some years now.
I own a mobile phone as well Ice.
I occasionally use it for actually phoning someone.
But, i must admit, i do text quite a lot.

I suppose they are useful in emergencies!

Well, Imhotep - and I hope this answers monts as well - I bought my first mobile only recently!!! Pathetic, or what, but I've never really had the need for one before. Took me ages to learn how to text - and i STILL can't get capital letters!!!!!

I actually saw someone on one tonight and I thought it was odd. I actually work with 2 people who are mobile-less. How did we ever get along without them????
