There's a completely empty room, only a bucket of water, and a man is hanging by his neck from the ceiling. How did he do it?

I believe the correct scenario should be:

A man hanging by his neck; a puddle of water on the floor beneath him & an empty bucket placed a distance away from him - how did he commit suicide?

The bucket had contained the water, frozen into a block of ice.

I think it makes even more sense without the bucket ! The man was standing on a block of ice that slowly melted. That way you're left with a man hanging from the ceiling and a puddle on the floor. Nothing he could have obviously climbed on to hang himself.
The water in the bucket was frozen when he hung himself so he was able to stand on top of it.
