this monday morning

q how do i put photo,s
from my samsung camera onto the
computer wat leads do i need
i have the icon digi master already on the computer
and a lexmark printer with scanner
any one know as iv no idea

Hi MONTY

If you have a digital camera you can take the memory card out of the camera and put it straight into your computer,. there should be a port for it to go, it will show up as 'new hardware found'

and were abouts would it be situated

Ours is on the tower itself Monty, it's a wee slot it does into, near the serial ports

Not laughing mate, I promise, I'm as thick as a plate o mince when it comes to this new fangled technology stuff.
Anyway, I imagine that as it's software/hardware that needs to be removed and inserted periodically it will be on the front for ease of use

Hi ,don't mean to interfere with 4gs advice, but not all comps have card readers built in, mine doesn't, I use a card reader that plugs into the USB port,or use the lead that came with the camara, this also goes into the USB port.

But to be quite honest, uless i want to do something special with a photo on photo/shop, then I just take my card, or CD, if I have stored files on CD down to ASDA, or one of the other places that process digital stuff as i find it much cheaper than buying good quality paper and inks,

What i do is email the picture(s) to myself, they show up my email, and then I send them to the editing software.
