escort 1998 zetec alternator

anyone any idea exactly how many bolts hold the alterternator to the car and how do i loosen the belt first ..car is a 1998 escort zetec with air con??

on the alternator there is one long nut&bolt or two short ones under the alternator, and one short nut&bolt at the top, to loosen the belt, undo the top nut and loosen the bootom one too, this will let the alternator move towards the engine and let the belt come off, once you have done that, put your new belt on and around the alternator and pull it back into place and tighten all the nuts&bolts up
