Good to see Gordon Brown in Paris, cheering on the England team. He was a formidable opponent himself, playing scrum- half, for his local rugby club, Raith Rovers. Raith is a small, friendly little town and very proud of their famous son, so much so, that the Lord Provost, has also sent his best wishes, to the England team, on behalf of the townspeople. Do you think that someone, pursuing such a manly sport, will become a great Prime Minister?
You've got to lead by example. Rugby is more a game of beleif and passion rather than skill as per football. He needs to convert the spirit of the rugby field to politics if he wants to capture the hearts of the British people.
Sadly No. I think too many people will remember him for the way he deliberately destroyed the value of their pension schemes and put them on course for an impoverished old age. When they're struggling to make ends meet I very much doubt the fact that he turned up with a freebie ticket to a rugby match, even if it was the England final, will cut much ice.
I would sooner see Brown there than fat face Cameron,oh, forgot to mention , hes going bald as well!!Before you start slagging of Gordon, this is the man behind the Maastricht debacle!!
