To follow on from sleepy's post.......it is too damn early to even contemplate Christmas. I saw the earliest signs of it back in late August...and frankly it just makes the dread and -yes-feeling of pressure -that much greater. It gets worse every year...who else feels this way?

I think we all agree that it is way too commercialised---the only message we get is to BUY,BUY,BUY-and there is certainly no sense of traditional christmas spirit. But in the end,who are we to blame?-is it all down to the shops and the media wanting to make as much from it as possible? how much are we to blame...can we do anything to stop it....would anyone pay attention? There should be a movement to stop shops from taking over Christmas

Haha-spottychops...you are the one who told some poor poster on Animals&Nature to feed an injured mouse to the cat!!!....sure you're kiddin' ? lol
not kiddin, we have hundreds of mutated mice every year and if u see the state of them, its wrong to keep them alive. so i leave them to it, finish them off and let nature take its cause. u wouldnt keep a dying dog alive would u? xxxxxxx
Question Author
No-I wouldn't spottychops....but where do you get mutated mice from???I wouldn't want to be drinking your local water!!! lol
I blame the Romans for making a martyr out of the hippie.
