I enjoyed it very much. The critics said it was predictable and I suppose it was but I enjoyed watching the two lead performances.
I cried my eyes out, It was a good programme but I have a nephew with downs and he and my son are like brothers ( 3 months apart in age) and they are NOT getting on at the moment!.. It was all a bit close to home really, but I enjoyed it being highlighted!

..one of the best dramas I've seen for a while, very well acted....
I thought it was great and agree that the two leads were both very well played by two charasmatic young actors. Think it all became a bit too peachy at the end, there were rather large dollops of sugar being spread over the story, but for me it doen't take away from the fact that until the end it was a clever, observant, and honest piece of film.

Thanks for your opinions people. i hope this autumn brings more brilliant drama's from the BBC and ITV! i can't wait to see the 'fairytales' re-told on BBC!
. I thought this one of the best dramas I`d seen for a long time also. I contacted the BBC re axing The Chase & they told me there were a lot of "exciting" new programmes coming on the Beeb. We`ll have to see !!!
I felt it was predictable in terms of the storyline, but that doesn't mean it wasn't well written! Sometimes things have to be predictable in order to work

In terms of the characters they were really engaging and it was amazingly well acted.
