Oh. I thought it was scrambled egg and cheese. Well, that's how my mum has always made it. May be there are regional variations.

welsh rarebit fresh bread 3/4 of an inch thick, lightly toast both sides.lay on diced or crumbled cheese,2 slices of bacon your choice,lay slice tomatos and mushrooms on top, break a fresh egg over it all, salt pepper to taste, place under grill till done to your satisfaction sprinkle with worcestersauce, have a glass of cider and enjoy from alun2504
