new moon?

Just been looking through binoculars and just to the right of the moon small object can anyone tell me what it is or what planet it is.Thanks By the way (Central England) and I know its not venus it is just a pin point in size just an inch away through binoculars. Best way I can explain. Thanks.

Saturn is very close to the right side of the moon just now
Found this page.
If you look halfway down at 6 o'clock, you'll see Saturn and the Moon almost coincide.
(I chose the time just to make the image easier to see)

Thanks for that pic much appreciated.
The moon passed very close to Venus on the 19th of May,, tonight (22nd) it's Saturn..
Then it passes close to Jupiter on the 31st..

Strange i thought,, beautiful though !

thanks for the info all .yes i did see venus on the 19th .also get info from spaceweather.com. just starting to study this so i appreciate any imformation, as it's all a bit overpowering for a start. thanks again all for your time.
