Is neighbour being taken off BBC1? i heard it somewhere and dont know if its true or not. If so, will it be axed completely or just on a different channel?

well ITV and 5 were in a bidding war over it, but now I've heard they are just axing it. Which is silly as its been vited 2nd best soap on tv. They will have to stop showing it every day anyway as I think we are catching with Oz.

The contract was due to expire and the folks behind Neighbours were demanding more cash per episode.
The BBC said no way and if it came to it then they'd just not show it any more.

That's the last I heard.

yeah i love it cos it's just easy vieweing and u can have a laff about it!!! I hope they don't axe it, it's definately my favourite soap!!!
