The Listener? I didn't even know they'd brought that back. Anyway, post the phrase and we'll have a bash.

It comes in the Saturday weekend section of the Times. The puzzle is called "Wealth" and the phrase is "Laws need to be broken to finish this crossword" This phrase is supposed to explain the form of the 8 thematic entries The clue for one of these, which has no definition, is "One beaten by length in words (5)" and I have LLNE. Another is "British troops enter foreign plane (5)" .RMIG You can find the whole puzzle online if you belong to the Times Crossword Club. I'm stumped, but then I hardly ever manage to do more than a few words of these fiendish puzzles.
Wealth is an anagram of The Law. All the themed answers are anagrams of laws - see the entry under Law in Chambers eg Grimm's Law.
