Who wrote the first draft and was the story of Jesus pilfered from other cultures? Also: Did Jesus know from an early age he was supposed to be the son of god and if so why was carpentry his first port of call as a vocation.

The bible was written by 40 men over 1500 years. And right through it runs the same theme. Why we suffer death and God's solution to this. something that he never planned for Adam and Eve.
Death only started when Adam and Eve sinned, disobeyed God. Genesis 2; 16,17
Jesus may have known from his mother Mary and stepfather, Joseph, but the bible says nothing of him using this to his own advantage,
But when he was baptised, at age 30, he then became aware of his complete pre-history,
Jesus was created by his Father in heaven, the very first of all created things.
Proverbs 8; 22-31
this is confirmed by;
(John 8:58) Jesus said to them: Most truly I say to YOU, Before Abraham came into existence, I have been.
When compared with all the scriptures in the book of John, where Jesus always takes second place to his Father in heaven, Jehovah God, It again confirms Proverbs 8.
Jesus took up carpentry because that was his stepfather's occupation. It was normal practice for sons to follow fathers in what they did.. Joseph was treated as Jesus' father by Jesus, although not his ' natural' father.
