I quote from my Bosch fridge instruction manual:

Operating Noises

The noise that cn be heard are perfectly normal.
The noise reduces automatically when the appliance reaches its operating temperature.

The humming sound is emitted by the motor (compressor)
When the motor switches on the noise may briefly increase in volume.

The bubbling, gurgling or whirring noise is emitted is emitted by the refrigerant as it flows through the pipes.
