Urgent! Just had a notice come up - error opening this message - not enough memory - what do I do?

Only half of the 'outlook express' box is coming up. I can't read or send any.

Its got worse! Now I can't get anything at all when I click on 'Outlook Express'.

Ok now. I switched off and switched back on, and it seems to have cured itself. Any thoughts/ideas in case it does it again?
