I attempted to connect my Windows 98SE PC to a new Epson printer via USB. The program part loaded then said "This product is not recognised". I attempted many times to get around this but failed; the shop spent about 3 hours and also failed. The Epson printer is stated to be compatible with 98SE but apparently others have had the same problem.

Hi Ethel, I had seen that one but it did not work. In fact the software was pre-installed for it.
Many thanks for trying.
A warning for others- Do not accept that 98 SE will connect through USB to other printers. Apparently it gives a lot of trouble.
