i sold my cortina to my neighbour for the princely sum of 50 pounds yesterday and i have subsequently realised i have left a photo album of compromising pictures of myself and a rather hairy faced female in the glove box, any suggestions on how i could covertly retrieve said item without arousing suspicion and maybe something else?

I thought you kept the pictures of my cousins sisters best friend in a safer place than your glove compartment...

The trick is to tell your neighbour that you have left some gloves full of bees in the glove box. The bees have been trained to sting to death anyone who opens the golve box that isn' you so in order to save your neighbours life you need to go in to the glove box and retrieve them... You will then have one grateful neighbour and your photos back.

Simple really... don't know how you didn't think of that yourself ;0P

Maybe you could convince your neighbour to let you take the passion wagon out for one last drive. Then you could get the pictures and put them in a sensible place!
Oh, and by the way, if you'd have told me you were selling your Cortina i'd have given you much more than �50!!!x
