Just thinking on the way home last night, after the 'living daylights' question, on a lighter note who stood behind their parents when a sibling was getting reprimanded and pointed and laughed, come on, own up.

samuel, the tears and the snot, can nearly taste it. Oh for the good old days!!!!!
Don't you remember snivelling ''That didn't hurt!'' ?
LOL yeah warpig1, nothing changes does it? My cousin (who is in his 40s) just read this thread and emailed me asking if my snot still tastes salty. I think he thinks I still get walloped and grizzle. Haven't done that for at least 15 years.
No way I wouldnt dare say that pippa as I'd get one that would prove it did :-)
F*#k me no!! doesn't bear thinking about ~ even if it didn't hurt I'd make a fuss, just to get off a bit lighter.
If I'd have said that my mum would have gone into over drive and I'd be sitting on cushions for a week. The only time I ever said that was when I was fighting with my brother or sisters and even then I had to be careful or they'd gang up and then it'd be a real pasting.
I think if kids and gravity has took its toll on them then to get them lifted is fantastic...good for how you feel...confidence booster...makes you look better...walk better...better for your back etc etc...but Jordan and others who have double gg or zipple z...or whatever..is quite revolting....im sure mr andre would think my mamas felt much nicer then kates...so bring it on !!!
?
how the hell did my answer to the "boob " question end up here...!!! ??? !!! either i am going mad......orrrrrrr ia m going mad...ignore it people

phew, thought I had lost the plot there sasserina!

Also know the'that didn't hurt' one, but believe me the next one did!

Or what about your mum or dad saying 'this is gonna hurt me more than it will hurt you', yeah, right!

Once, my mum got so annoyed at me for not eating my tea that she poured it on my head, i ran upstairs to look in the bathroom mirror and burst out crying when i saw strands of spaghetti and bolognaise all over me :-( lol
I have to add that I did the 'didn't hurt' thing as I was legging it up the stairs...
But did you run up backwards as to hide your bum?
I was the after thought in my family so didn't see much of the bigger ones in their heyday of boldness. My best friend at the time though remembers my mother putting me on the kitchen table to get a better swing at me! She told me this last year after listening to a debate on the radio about slapping - we laughed ourselves silly!
Nah...I held a cushion against my bum!
I've been there and really looked forward to watching my 2 younger brothers get a good yelling/smacking from my mom, it was like watching a movie only more enjoyable.

But when it was my turn they'd enjoy it too and openly laugh, point, make stupid faces and sometimes even start munching snacks while the 'show' went on...
