Ta geezer.  Is that good space I know nothing re squared

jenny; are you talking about your new shed?

Question Author

Yes

that'll depend what you want to put in it, I suppose. Four beds and an aspidistra?

Question Author

Jno do you mean it about 4 single beds

Jenny; Four single beds would just about fill the shed, with no spare room for access.

A single bed is 3ft wide and 6 ft long, so that would be three single beds side by side with 12 inches spare along the width and the length.

Two double beds (4'6 x 6'3) would leave 12 inches free along the length and 7" free across the width.  Of course you could get more in if you stacked them

Normally, double-decker buses, football fields and Olympic swimming pools are used for mensuration purposes...are beds the new standard?
