I'd have sooner continued to watch the snooker.  But you have an off switch on your telly.

... and rugby, snooker, motor racing, basketball.

Fills a bit of space and encourages folk to get some exercise.

Football is more popular than snooker.

14.29 Girly football cant be more popular than snooker!! Can it ?

Snooker's easier to have a doze to without missing any of the action.

Yes

Did Ronnie stop and wait?

Had it been Cliff Thorburn playing you'd only have missed one break.

Good, they've interupted enough programmes in the last week, or forever, for the stick and ball, let their fans suffer too.  It seems to go on forever.

Far more interesting than laddies playing with their balls (and sticks)

It's not women's football! It's football played by women.

was the snooker not available on the red button / iplayer?

Watch it on Eurosport, same pictures, fewer earnest product development requirements.

snooker is also on Eurosport and the red button.

Football played by women is far more interesting than being played by men, in my opinion, there's none of the pretend 'being fouled' or other histrionics that men's football sees.

Women get on with the job in hand and play the game.
