> Ellipsis- I'm a registered member but I'm still inundated with adverts, what am I doing wrong?

If you're logged in and seeing ads, you may have malware. Nothing to do with AB, more with your browser or PC.

> Ellipsis, sites are pitched to advertisers on monthly or weekly footfall and membership, not if a member may or may not see the ad.

The ads I see on AB when not logged in are Google ads or similar, which are not "pitched based on monthly or weekly membership". You seem to be making things up to suit your own conspiracy theories. But if AB really is pitching to advertisers based on false membership numbers, why would the Ed give the transparency that I copied at 11:55? I copied that from this page:

Ellipsis oh do stop it with conspiracy theories please, l don't come on here for aggrevation, it was my opinion based on experience. You have every right to disagree with it but try and be civil please.

Have no fear douglas9401, you have a lengthy list of badges:

Yes yes yes, but where are my badges?

This is already affecting my mental health.

Thank you Etch, my agitation got the better of me. 🤣

Given that your theories are shown to be not based in fact, "conspiracy theory" is the right and civil phrase. "Uncivil" would be calling you a deliberate liar to denigrate AB, but of course I'm not doing that ...

I see douglas, like me, was awarded his one-year service badge last night. I must say, I did feel a sudden warm glow around 7pm; that must be why.

so it's a exactly like the principle reason why Elon was questioning twitter users ?

Question Author

where do you see what badges you have ?

is it a bit like cake day ?

To see your badges click on your username where it appears underneath your (or default) avatar. This will take you to your 'public member profile'. Add the word 'badges' to the end of the URL text and then press ENTER. For example johnny.5's public member profile is here:

https://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/members/johnny5/

and his badges are here

so we all got our badges yesterdy ?

Why ?

Holiday relief looking for something to do about the place?

Etch I can't do it. Is it because I am on Safari on an ApplMac?  I'm itching to see my results.

LB - here is a link to your badges: you have loads!

Thank you so much for your help Ellipsis and Toorak.

Odd I couldn't get there myself.

oh my, I've got another one-year badge tonight! Are the robots dishing them out every evening? That's so sweet.

Award ceremonies seem few and far between.  I got 5 badges on the 10th October 2013 and 5 today.  Weird!

being showered with honours is like being a Tony donor, Canary, they just keep pouring in.
