I'll start....The Jovian Moon IO is so close to Jupiter that it has tides in rock. The moon is continually stretched into an Oviod and thus the friction causes lots of volcanoes.

These are places where the gravitational pulls of Earth, the moon and the sun cancel each other, and so satellites can be 'parked' there.

The Clangers live on the moon. Their friend The Soup Dragon does too and he eats blue string soup.

Mimas, one of Saturn's moons, looks just like the Death Star from Star Wars. And at a diameter of 246 miles, it's the smallest object in the solar system that has pulled itself into a spherical shape from its own gravity. Perhaps it's no moon after all ...

 

Uranus (probably because it was hit by something) spins on a horizontal axis (relative to the Sun) unlike Earth which is about 23 degrees off vertical, hence we have seasons.

yes we see it as it was 8 mins ago, the solar system indeed  the whole galaxy has moved a lot in that time.

The main reason is that the soil is full of Iron Oxide.

If the Bible is correct, in addition to the sun and moon's motion and appearance, planetary motion and appearance as viewed from Earth are predetermined by God and have significance corresponding to Biblical persons and happenings. The King Planet, Jupiter, and the Morning Star, Venus, are each mentioned in the Scriptures.
