I have recently had a problem the power steering on my Citroen C4 Picasso, I also had a problem starting the car and I have had to jump start it all the time, so I purchased a new batttery, and the steering problem seems to have been resolved. My nearside wing mirror has never worked since the day that I got the car, but the offside mirror works fine, the starter has never worked, without the key being in the ignition, whereas it is supposed to work whilst the key is in my pocket. I thought that maybe the new battery would have reset the car but it hasn't I thought that the problem with my wing mirror and my ignition might have something to do with a fuse so maybe somebody could help me please.

If your car was supposed to have keyless starting, why would they provide a keyhole to insert the key?

Probably for the same reason there are keyholes in my car doors even though I can lock or open them remotely.

If the battery in the key stops working, it can be used as an ordinary key still.

Sorry Stan, you bought a Citroën.

My volvo has a fuse for the keyless drive so your Citroen might have one. A Haynes manual for your car will have the details if you can't find them online. There's also a good chance that the mirrors are fused separately.
