Trump has made noises about leaving NATO, and is certain to abandon Ukraine, and therefore the other European countries that Putin thinks are part of Russia.

It would seem sensible for Europe to have some independent plan for defending itself.

The problem is if senior blob personel have been doing this.

From what I can see its not actually to form an EU army but more of a European replacement for NATO.  This could be interesting since once of Mr Trumps reasons for pulling out of NATO is because European countries dont contribute enough.  And now they want to pay for it all?  Or is that why they are talking to us they want us to pay for it?

Btitain needs to bind with the rest of europe when it comes to defence  The UK would not be abe to defend itself alone. Those days are long gone ..United you stand divided you fall.
