I don't believe that.  Science doesn't worry too much about religion.  It's always advancing.

Science is but our socialogical development has stalled. Look at the middle east. There are 2 religions fighting each other but their religions are more or less identical and they descended from brothers.

I don't think the eradication of religion would mean the eradication of war, Tora. We'd just go on fighting over land, resources and wealth (or poverty on the other side of the coin).

Science overtook religion in influence over 200 years ago. It no longer holds us back. Our modern world exists because of science, and religion never aids progress, we move on despite it.

Religion presumes knowledge. Only by questioning our presumptions of what we know and how we know it do we begin to make distinctions between what we know and what we believe and in the process acquire a deeper understanding of what is real.
