Tbis was a speech that originally was just going to be about Ukraine until the events of October 7.

Some of the I believe minority Republican reaction has been "disgusting" but as Jim Jeffries continues his frantic efforts to take the Speaker's chair those people are on the wrong side of history and it will be proved.

I agreed with what Biden said.  But when he says, "Iran is supporting Russia in Ukraine, and it’s supporting Hamas and other terrorist groups in the region. And we’ll continue to hold them accountable, I might add."   What does holding Iran accountable mean, in practical terms?

Good question: I hope he means go after their means of production.

Yesterday btw was the biggest daily loss of Russian military personnel and tanks since the full scale invasion of Ukraine: 1380 and 55 respectively.

Thats a lot of men and tanks

Watching the news, I thought that was all over now.

And a total of 21 helicopters when ATACMS struck for the first time in Berdyansk and Luhansk.

It was interesting to read the comments of Russian military bloggers about the Avdiivka offensive, which is probably the main reason for the huge losses. They themselves use the term "meat grinder".
