Wonder how much of this borrowed money that has to be paid back by the taxpayer, found it's way into the trouser pockets of Tory MPs and their Cronies when Boris was in charge.

Oh hello, it's the daily trolling.  Government borrowing is well down the last two years (since the pandemic) so whats your problem?

stop feeding the troll peeps.

@ Stableford

"so whats your problem?" ...he has to feed his obsession and its got the troll nicely wound up so has to be good news..

Wonder if any of  the above posters would like to discuss the topic of this thread.... instead of acting like school kids🤣

High levels of national debt under the present Tory Govt will hurt the UKs ability  to fund public services and respond to economic crises.

As another poster put it (and you ignored it)- government borrowing is well down the last two years since the pandemic.  So a completely pointless, opportunistic, desperate post by the usual suspect.

Spungle 11.02 In the year 2022..23 financial year. This Tory Govt  borrowed £128.4 Billion.. that was £5.5 Billion than the previous year.

Have a read of this (although I doubt you'll understand the context of it🙄):

If you do understand any if it you'll see that Govt debt ar a percentage of GDP is reducing.

ZM 11.29 Have you been reading  the TDRR again

No, hullo, just facts. You should try it some time.

Gulliver- get your facts straight.  The last two years are way down.  But don't let that get in the way of your trolling.

gulliver, the problem is you don't discuss anything, you make a statement then ignore any opposing points of view.  You end any further statements with OK. That is not a discussion.

he doesnt have the intelligence required to discuss anything...he gets somebody to c&p anything Conservative related he can find and just trolls this board....

...again, stop feeding the troll peeps! Never argue with an idiot, they will bring you down the their level then beat you with experience.

Gully, you forgot to mention other notable achievements of this Tory government – the highest inflation rate for 40 years, the highest taxation in 70 years, and that the government debt is the highest in 70 years – an impressive record for the Tories to go to the polls with next year.

So that suggests to me that if your beloved Labour government get in you want it to cut spending and get the nation debt down? You can't have it both ways.
