I suspect that they were living under a rock while the pandemic raged, resulting in thousands of avoidable deaths due to the government’s incompetent response to the pandemic.

As revealed at the Covid inquiry, the government’s Chief Scientific Officer (Sir Patrick Valance) wrote in his diary at the time ‘chaos as usual in Downing Street’ and another entry described Boris Johnson as ‘...all over the place and so completely inconsistent

We are well rid of this incompetent fool from British politics.

Downing st was full of flatulent liars

BUT so long as the Health Ministry was functioning, it didnt matter. They got some things wrong, ( PIP) and some other spectac right ( vaccines)

'They' thought Covid was gonna be like SARS - which was not a bad starting point - ventilate the patient and wait

and werent expecting an 80% mortality when you did that

Boris being ill enough to be on ITU ( they didnt wait for  an ambulance but took him in  a car) had a one in two chance of dying....

Not  the  first  time a head of state has died from an epidemic disease - 1392 Anne of Bohemia, plague.   OK loo-ie kwinz 1772 smallpox.

so yeah I dont think they did too badly
