I am invited to a series of events to celebrate "bisexual awareness week" - Can anyone tell me the possible relevance of peoples bedroom arrangement has to my employment? This week it was something else of similar irrelevance! What's happenning in this strange world? Why is everyone obsessed with peoples' sexual preferences? How is it possibly relevant to what we do at work?

Atheist, as one who regularly makes a show of bristling with holier than thou indignation at perceived rudeness, do you really think it acceptable to refer to those who disagree with you as gammons?   Nothing derogatory about that?

A long time ago (in the last century, before it became the rage it is today) one of the guys in the large IT department where I was employed changed his gender. While he was away having bits removed, all employees were sent an e-mail on the topic and invited to attend meetings to be briefed on how to handle the situation when he returned.

All seemed OK on her return, but she chose to leave after a short while because she found it too stressful.

I think the course would tell you to call him/her they.

//how to handle the situation//

EEwwww. Who would want to handle such a situation? I will stick to what I know thank you very much.
