Chris, did you see the birds nest on that scientist's head.

I think that we tend to underestimate the intelligence of all non-humans.
^^^ I decided a long time ago, Susan, that if visitors from outer space ever arrive on Earth, seeking the highest form of intelligence here, it's unlikely to be humankind that they'll end up communicating with. Ant, bees, marine mammals (and, of course, cats), among many other species, are far more likely to be seen as being right at the top of the pyramid.
