Just got an email saying I could win a Ninja air fryer if I completed the survey from Sainsbury’s which I did cos there was nothing personal in it. They said congratulations I had won then asked for my shipping address and said I had to pay the shipping fees. Guess who’s not getting a Ninja air fryer!!!!!

I bet everyone's a 'winner'. Good on you for realising, sadly many won't and will end up with a cheap chinese death trap, if they get anything at all
It amazes me the very high number of people that put personal details on Facebook on threads headed along the lines of 'Do you qualify for this benefit? State your date of birth' - and they do!

Kustard, lots of people have fallen for that email, at least you had the sense not to go through with it.

God no Barry. You can get blood out of a stone easier than getting money out of Kate!!!! Funnily enough I have been thinking of getting a Ninja lately so any advice would be appreciated
This comes through on a regular basis. Now goes into my Spam as does the one from B&Q saying I've won a super duper tool kit. Scammers will try anything, got to be so careful these days.
I think Bobbisox is the Ninja queen, so she might be able to help you.
Then you have the real scam from Sainsburys. The one at their fuel stations and their new app. You need the latter to reduce their inflated prices.
Oh...but the "inflated prices" are everywhere, and they are just doing what most other supermarkets are in an attempt to keep our business.
I use Sainsbury's...but certainly not exclusively.
Inflated prices are not everywhere pasta, the only ones inflating their prices are the desperate, and especially the ones who spin these so called club discount cards. Its really no skin off my nose if people want to believe they are getting a true discount with these apps. They are very much like the many garden centre club cards, the discount is based on RRP, or self inflated, the latter being way through the roof to begin with.
I give you one example of many running at Sainsburys a couple of weeks back, 1 block of 500g £5.75, if you had the club card you got it for £3.75, so £2.00 discount. This cheese has never been sold in Sainsburys at £5.75, and even if it had been that price, no business could stand to discount that amount on one product costing £5.75.
So in fact they are saying that even at letting it go at £3.75 they are still making their profit margin?
According to what they told government a few days ago, they are NOT inflating prices, they've already been caught out with their fuel prices. Lets say that the above price of £5.75 is the correct selling price? in that case they must make a hell of a lot more profit than what they told the government, on 1 block of cheese, its all BS I'm afraid.

And Iceland is doing loads of “wonderful” offers at the moment eg 3 packs of sandwich meat for £5 (when it was £1 per pack before) and 3 cheeseburgers for £5 when they were £1 each too!!!!! They must think we are all senile. You actually get £5 off if you spend £25 but you can’t get the 10% off on a Tuesday then!!! I just love a good moan xxx
I have had a few mails this last week telling me I had won a Tesco gift voucher, just click on the egg, didnt bother the mail seemed to come from new york
I never look at any of the emails as they are never about anything I actually want.
