hi Gully
I think retro's "answer" eer if it be that, is uncalled for. I dont see that youth unemployment affects airport strikes
( but I am visually impaired haw haw haw)

I went to Fuerteventure once.
I went to Philadelphia once, but it was closed (WC Fields)

Fuerteventure A barren wasteland. Endured 2 weeks of the place - never again. I don't know why anyone wants a Spanish beach holiday TBH

try Hurghada - see above - I did 6 d

PP @ 13.19 Same here. I also can not understand How youth unemployment in Spain would affect airport strikes.Perhaps super Plod has spent too much time in the Juvenile courts nicking those kids, for nicking sweets . lol.
Surely it's obvious he's not saying youth unemployment is reason for strikes ...basic English comprehension skills tell me he was saying there's many not so good things about Spain including youth employment
Malta is good if you want a quiet holiday. Not much there for children but plenty of shopping in Sliema and Valletta if you're a shopaholic. And for the religiously inclined, Malta has more churches per square mile than any other country on Earth. Nearly 400 churches, I believe.
Pedantic point perhaps...it's not seat or Seat - it's SEAT (same reason it's BMW and FIAT etc.)
The hospitality business ie restaurants and hotels etc are staffed by young people who are falling over each other to find employment in the industry. If Spanish airport workers hinder tourists entering their territory to spend dineros then they shoot themselves in the footJesus Christ on a Crutch. How obtuse can you get?

You obviously don’t rate Malta’s history then.
From the Auberges of the Knights of St John, many invaders and sieges up to the last WW War. History abounds if you chose to look for it.

17.3O Try again. It seems you are only convincing yourself, that Christ had a crutch.
Why do you all continue to engage with the Troll ?

I wonder as well. He has been reported for constant inane stupidity with remarks that do not further the debate of the subject in hand. I doubt it will do much good as it seems we are supposed to watch the site go to hell in a handcart and donate for the privilege.

Emiritus @17.52 You obviously read my threads then.
Retrocop, I have visited Malta many times. I have Maltese ancestry, and have many friends there. I think it's true to say that there isn't much for children on holiday there. I didn't say anything about Maltas' history.
I agree. It’s hardly a kids theme park. I’ve seen one water park on way to Buggiba and it’s always closed when I have visited
