Said Boris ... It seems like you Brexiteers have been done again.
Sunak is to leave thousands of EU laws intact. Only one in five EU laws will be scrapped, out of the 4,000 Promised. Thats twice you Brexiteers have been done. You were "Oven ready " Ok ......You have burnt your bridge.

So as far as the 10 year rule goes how does it affect a non EU but European country like one of the canaries.
I wonder if the EU has a similar rule for arrivals from other non-EU countries? Anyone know?

yes ! like the sudanese ( only 60m on the move) and boat people from Tunisia -how do THEY get treated? I can't think ! I suggest it is all down to whether they can get a job ( like Ukraine), speak the language and NOT be a drain on public finance

The same applies in the Canaries. That is because, as part of Spain they are part of the EU. However, they are outside the European Union customs territory and VAT area.
Thank you NJ, just wanted clarification.

One leading UK Exporter . We have to pay a fee to get our goods out of the UK by parcel ,then when the customer in the EU recieves it the customer has to pay a processing fee then an additional vat charge before the package is released , then they refuse the package which is returned to us then we have to pay an import duty to get the package back to us .

18.43 Never mind "It didn't happen, it does happen with every package that comes from the UK in to the EU even birthday presents when it is clearly marked on the declaration form ....Gift.

Brexit would not have ruined their business. Being too incompetent to be able to plan ahead and manage risks and opportunities, may have. Of course if one is incapable of achieving such forward planning, then implying one is a good business person really, while finding something or someone to blame one's difficulties on, must be an attractive option.

Maybe they should blame instead the excessive import paperwork demanded by the EU. Or perhaps they could begin to realise that the EU is no friend and no longer a suitable market for them; and explore & export elsewhere. Perhaps check the home market to begin with.
I get loads of parcels, mainly German car parts from the EUSSR, never had to go to the post office. More 5C BS from the master sheet baller.

Well its no good trying to sell sun cream in the UK is it OG. Think about it.
Question Author
Brexit HAS affected goods trade between the UK and the EU. When Comparing trade flow between the EU to and from other Countries in the world ,there is a sharp decline in trade from the UK to the EU and a reduction of trade the other way EU to UK .
Why not ? Folk here use sun cream.

And the question is why has there been a change in trade volume with the EU. The cause is likely to be the hurdles put in place by the aforementioned federal block, smarting from having a nation exit their control; not from the exit itself.
