Hi, all!

I thought that I was on a roll with the main quiz this week, getting the first three questions right. Alas, that's as far as it went though. So that's THREE out of seven for me:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-64976139

At least I'm a perfect kid this week though. FIVE out of five in the junior quiz for me:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/51318780

Another FIVE for me, but this time out of ten, in the Timed Teaser:

So that's an aggregate score of 13. That should be easy enough for you to beat, shouldn't it?

We are not sure what is the answer re brother going home. The hospital phoned my daughter at 1.00 am yesterday for her permission to section him. He keeps trying to discharge himself. He has heart failure and kidney problems. He has been in hospital since mid December apart from two days.

Oh dear, Caran. I hope that things go as well as they can for him. It must be very hard for you.
Thank you Chris.
Good evening, Chris! Can't beat your score tonight
3/7, 3/5, 6/10
Sounds all cosy at yours - hope you and kitties doing well :-)

Hi, Karamia!

I beat you in one quiz, you beat me in another and we tied on the remaining one. So let's call that "all square" this week, shall we?

Yes, life's very cosy with me and the throublesome threesome here, thank you. I usually have at least two cats, and sometime three, sleeping alongside me on my bed at night. It can get a little crowded but it's wonderful all the same ;-)

I hope that you're well and winning the battles with all that life throws at us.
5 in the adult one but only two in the kids!

You need to spend more time playing with your Lego, JJ109 ;-)
Mmmm. I suppose it's slightly better than last week, Chris, when I had two zeros. 2/7 and 2/5
4/7 First round
1/5 second round
6/10 third round.
Guess I'm not worth listening to.

Catching up with the latecomers (but more welome though) . . .

Hi, 10CS. As you say, definitely an improvement this week. Perhaps you'll do even better next week?

Thanks for your contribution from 'down under', 1ozzy. A couple of decent scores there I see but it looks like you need to allow your inner child a bit more freedom ;-)

Hi, Kwillmott. Decent enough in the sprint event anyway ;-)

Hiya, Patsy!

Well done on getting that impressive 7 in the ever-tricky Timed Teaser!
Just sneaking in the back of the class....
3/5 v 5/5 (!)
5/5 v 2/5 (0ops)
5/10 v 5/10 (Snap)
Hope you're feeling better healthwise this week and the gang aren't
playing too hard. Just got back from seeing family and Shady never noticed, which is good as I don't feel bad about leaving him :-))

Hi, Haras2! It's lovely to see your late post. (It's just not the same for me if I can't read about you and Shady each week!).

That's one quiz to you, one to me and one tied. So honours even, I think ;-)

You obviously made sure that Shady had a good supply of nice food before you went away. I hope that you had a good time and that, even though he never missed you, you'll still make a great big fuss of Shady ;-)

My lot are all in their usual form. Unless I can persuade at least one of them to move off my bed though, I'm going to have to sleep in a chair again tonight ;-)
