Is there such a thing as higher quality instant coffee? I generally don't like any of the cheaper or shop own coffees. My go to would be Nescafe Gold Blend or Carte Noir, and I don't really like Maxwell House, Kenco or Daege Roberts.

But are there any other varieties of instant coffee that are of higher quality that anyone could recommend.

I realise that any true coffee aficionados will baulk at the very notion of any form of instant coffee being of any quality lol, but please glance over your misgivings just this once.

Thanks, I will definitely try that out. I've not seen instant Costa before. I think all the links from the Tesco link were not instant.
I may try it also.
My instant favourite is the Nescafé that comes in sachets, you can get it in various flavours, but I prefer the cappuccino one.
Do you lot have Spar supermarkets?

I tried Spar own brand freeze dried instant, 1/4 of the price of others.
And I haven't tossed it in the bin yet.
But,, I'm easily pleased,,

I know the discussion is about instant, but Aeropress is a quick way of making a single cup of "real" coffee without too much mess and fuss.

I'm not a fan of having to clean out a contraption every time I make a coffee. Rinsing out a cup is about the height of my tolerance.
I bought the Costa today. It will be a while before I try it as I've only just opened a tin of Lavazza.

You're very disciplined in your coffee regime pasta lol. I usually have 3 or 4 on the go at any given time.
