Brexit hit UK investment by £29bn, says Bank of England policymaker
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-64623488

That's £1000 per household. I hear our GDP is down 20% from where it could have been had it not been for the dreaded B'exit, the pandemic and now the cost of living crisis isn't helping either. That's a lot of money that could have been used to help people, to help pretty much everyone in fact, to create a better society we'd all be better off. I blame the government, even the IMF agree the UK is struggling and falling behind the other G7 major economies.

The International Monetary Fund says the UK will be the only major economy to shrink in size this year.

That's not good, so is it true there is a lack of investment in 'the UK PLC' ?

TORATORATORA, "How can 52% of the electorate be traitors?"

Yet again you are confusing the percentage of those who were entitled to vote in the Brexit referendum with the percentage of those who took part in the referendum and voted to leave.

Only 37.44% of the electorate voted to leave the EU.
Apologies GROMIT, I hadn't seen your post pointing out the same false claim.

TORATORATORA, "we only count those that bother to vote in all elections gromit, we cannot make assumptions about those that did not."

You DID make an assumption since YOU referred to the electorate and by doing so, made a false assumption that had they all voted, the outcome would have matched the percentage in the actual vote.
There is nothing really new in this youtube video showing how badly Brexit is going (and will continue to go); but early on the presenter briefly talks about the returns agreement (with the EU) whereby asylum seekers could legal be returned (to another country).

But Boris Johnson’s oven-ready Brexit was agreed without a returns agreement in place.

Worse, for the racist Brexiteers, these asylum seekers (whom we could have legally returned) tend to have darker coloured skins than our European neighbours.

so now you are calling us names! A sure sign your argument is defeated, cheers Hymie.
Tora, glib comments and name calling are not methods set aside for your exclusive use.
Brexit was a BIG mistake for the UK And it will take years to recover from it ...if ever .
.........Repent at leisure ....Brexiteers...

Brexit isn't working ...Brexit hasn't delivered, as Promised by the Tory chief liar. There is no sunny uplands to go skipping along. Having taken back control the present Govt can't handle it. which ever direction they take, they put the UK more into the mire.. just call a GE and get rid of them.
Yes A GE will get rid of them but isn't going to reverse brexit unless we all vote Green/ LibDem or vote SNP/Plaid Cymru and hope for independance
All those that want back in:

Would you want back in on the terms we would be offered? Join the EURO, no rebates, no say along with a host of other different things from when we were in.
