Well of course they do .

If a baby has a headache - how does one know ?- you don't even if they are crying

So they just have to put up with the pain - yes ?

Mums know their baby and you can tell what's the matter and where the pain is, if there is one. Drawing legs up indicates tummy ache etc. Quite often crying means baby is hungry or needs changing
I could tell my young babies were in pain, most parents know something is wrong even if they don’t know precisely where the pain is.

It's a good job that we cannot remember our birth. Getting your head and body out of that little hole, with someone pushing you, must have been very traumatic.
